Photo Editing Skills & Thrills Workshop
Photo editing can take many forms from the program/app used to the genre of photography. In this newly developed series of ongoing workshops, Anna Cary, Photoshop expert, will be presenting many different photo editing techniques to help the experienced photographer take their images to the next level. In these instructional & hands on workshops you will learn what many pros do to their photos.
In our next workshop Anna will cover – Photoshop CC 2018 – the “Bear” Essentials
Whether you are new to Adobe Photoshop, or just want to review some of the basics, as well as catch up on the latest editing tools, this workshop is for you.
If you already use Lightroom and/or Camera Raw for your initial editing, you will find that the techniques covered here are specifically unique to Photoshop.
We will start by setting up your workspace and preferences.
Using Layers, Layer Masks and Blend Modes, you will learn how to do extensive Clean up and removal of artifacts, from your images. Some of these tools include the Healing Brush, Spot Healing Brush, Patch tool, and the Clone Stamp tool.
We will use various Selection tools (Marquee, Quick Selection Tool, Lasso) to refine how the Clean up tools work. Even the Crop tool has some features that are only available in Photoshop (Perspective Crop, Add Canvas).
By using Adjustment Layers, we will make non-destructive edits on separate layers, to allow for future changes to those adjustments.
We will take a look at Image Size versus Canvas Size, in order to Save separate files for standard frame sizes.
Time permitting, we will see how to create a custom copyright using the Photoshop text tool.
