If you love being outdoors photographing birds and would like to create fine art images that stand out in a competition or look great in a gallery setting, than this 2 part workshop is for you. Gary Shaver, an award winning fine art photographer and retoucher, will lead you through the steps to create amazing images using Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop. In these instructional and hands on workshops you will improve your photo editing skills and learn how to take your images to the next level.  Visit Gary’s website to see some of his work.
 
Using the industry standard for editing digital images, Photoshop,  you will learn to use textures, layers, blend modes and brushes to your advantage, creating digital art on your “computer canvas”.
 
Previous Photoshop experience is necessary. The latest version of Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC) will be used, assuring that you will benefit from the latest features and editing technology.
 
Gary will be providing the class with images and will take you step by step though the editing process. On completion of the class you will have a fully edited image file in Photoshop that will allow you to return to your process to review at a later date if desired.

  • Some experience with photo editing is helpful. Practice photos & a handout of material covered will be provided.
