Class Description

Adobe Lightroom is a powerful tool for cataloging and editing digital images and is uniquely suited to the efficient processing large numbers of photographs. In this class, we will cover the basics of image editing in Lightroom Classic CC and demonstrate techniques and workflows that will help you edit images quickly and consistently. We will also cover some more advanced LR editing techniques including: Creating and installing Develop Presets; the power of the Local Adjustment tools; creating great monochrome and duotone effects; using and creating Profiles; perspective and distortion correction; advanced uses of the Tone Curve and much more!

This class is based on Lightroom Classic CC but is relevant for Lightroom versions 4-6 also.  Please note that Lightroom CC (the cloud-based version) is NOT covered in this class.

It is not necessary to have a laptop with Lightroom installed for this class, but you are welcome to bring one if you want to.  This is a demonstrated class – all students receive class slides.

“Thanks so very much.  Getting the slides is a great benefit to us students.  This is something that other class organizers don’t supply.  Your classes AND the handouts are the best around..”
