Class Description
It’s time to put your new skills into use! In this newly developed series of classes we will offer different genres of photography for those who have completed our Photo 2 class. The goal is to apply what you learned in Photo 2 with these classes. Each class module will be 2 weeks long and will incorporate introduction to the type of photography demonstrated, hands on shooting, homework and class constructive critiques.
Food Photography is our first class. Herbie Martin, Food Photographer, will be teaching table top shooting. This class will explore Food Photography for foodies, newbies, beginners, hobbyists and even the experienced photographer wanting to develop or enhance their food photography skills.
After a brief introductory lecture about food photography, Herbie Martin will reveal the importance of set-up, lighting and special effects; props, styling and angles; trends and more. Subjects of each layout from appetizers to salads, soups to sandwiches, desserts to beverages. Bring your camera (DSLR models or similar) and learn expert tips to maximize its features whether you shoot with available or studio light.

Professional Photographer
Herbie is a member of the Harmon Photo staff and teaches a number of our practical shooting classes. Herbie brings his SCAD photography/art degree and over 25 years of professional experience to each of his classes.
